george & tyler ~ fitzroy portraits

I was in Melbourne recently for a workshop with Samm & Dan, Art and the Heart. Which was awesome. It was great to meet other like minded souls, get my creative head space out of usual routine and hit the reset button. Which is exactly what I was hoping for, and achieved. Melbourne is good for that. It’s like an addictive drug, I keep going back for more.

So while I was there, I got the chance to catch up with Gee & T about their up coming wedding in Lorne, Victoria. They are two funny Kiwi’s, who are in love with Melbourne and who’s wedding is going to be a riot! Even my friend, web designer and photographer Stu of the Day will be second shooting for that one in March. After a couple of drinks with George and Tyler in this nice little bar in Fitzroy (Southpaw), we / I decided we should do a mini portrait session. Literally, the following was all shot in the space of 15 minutes, I only photographed the equivalent of one roll of film, and all on a 50mm lens.

merry christmas

It’s not Christmas without some photos! After all, I think the spirit of Christmas is all about channeling your inner child, and to dance apparently! Thank you to all our wonderful couples and families of 2011 for making it such a great year. Take it easy. :)

lou & tim. all hallows. wedding.

Definitely need to post this wedding at some stage, especially since it’s the first time we’ve photographed two sister’s weddings, in the one year! Love these guys (that includes you, Michelle & Mitch)! As for below, no comment!

father & daughter

I love this moment, so I just had to post it. This is what is all about of us. Capturing that one off fleeting moment, that will be remembered forever. And sometimes the first time a father sees his daughter walk down the aisle, isn’t at her own wedding. :)
